Cannonball Run 2023 was a big hit for the 2nd year in a row! Thank you to all that participated, volunteered, and sponsored. This event was awesome because of you!
For 50 years, Commonwealth Swim Club has been a summertime hub of community, fellowship, and friendly competition in the Burke and Fairfax area. In 2022 we hosted our inaugural Cannonball Run and the event was a blast for all! This year, the family friendly fun run will take place in Kings Park West neighborhood and is open to the general public. With this run, we have something for everyone, you can walk or run, 1 mile or 3 miles. Click here for the course map. Participants have the option to cannonball their way over the finish line and across the diving board. Our Cuda Cafe will be serving breakfast available for purchase after the race so that you can recharge for the day ahead.
Registration cost is $20 per participant. Sign-ups are available here online or in person at packet pick up, 5/20 from 2-4pm or on race day, 5/21 from 8a-9a. All participants must sign a waiver. Download, print, and bring to the race here. If the race must be canceled due to inclement weather, 5/28 is our rain date.
Packet pickup will be Saturday, May 20th from 2-4pm. The pool will be operating for opening weekend and it is an open house so don’t forget your bathing suit and towel! For up to the minute information, please check us out on Instagram @commonwealth_cudas
